WAIVER

                I have read the KABIBO Fun Run 2017 Form completely and fully understand the policies of the event. I know for a fact that participating in a Fun Run or Marathon is a potentially hazardous activity and will require running and walking across rugged and uneven terrain and other obstacles.  I should not participate unless I am medically able.  I understand the nature of, and assume all risks associated with my voluntary participation in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including extreme temperature, dark portions of the course and traffic.  Knowing these facts, I for myself, heirs executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf covenant not to sue and WAIVE, RELEASE AND DISCHARGE the Race Organizers, Sponsors, Race Officials, Workers or Volunteers their representatives, successors or assigns for ANY AND ALL claims or liability whether seen or unforeseen for death, personal injury or property damage arising out of, or in the course of my participation in this event.  I further grant full permission to the Race Organizers and Sponsors authorized by them to use any photographs, video tapes or other record of the event for any reasonable purpose.

RACE DETAILS, RULES AND REGULATIONS

1.     ALEGRIA KABIBO Fun Run 2017 is open to all runners male and female. Participants below 18 yrs old must have their entries and waiver signed by a parent or a guardian.  No change of race category after confirming registration, violation of the same may result to disqualification. Multiple registration is not allowed. Entry fee for all categories is not refundable. Registration area is located at the Mayor’s Office of Alegria, Surigao del Norte.
2.     Race date is on JUNE 12, 2017; 04:00am, and the race venue is near the new Municipal Hall.
3.     Assembly time :           
                                    For 16k runners, they should be at the race venue at 03:00 in the morning for the warm up and gun start at 04:00am.  Cut off for this category is 1 hour and 30 min from gun start. Finishers Certificate and Medal will be provided.
                                    For 05k runners, they should be at the race venue at 4:00am and gun start will be at 05:00am. Cut off for this category is 30 minutes from gun start. Finishers Certificate will be provided.
                                    For 03k runners, they should be at the race venue at 5:00am and gun start will be at 06:00am. Cut off for this category is 20 minutes from gun start. Finishers Certificate will be provided.
4.     Runners will be provided with colored lace on every turning point depending on their registered category. Said lace shall be worn by the runner until he/she reaches the finish line.
5.     Participants may run, walk or rest upon  their discretion provided they don’t leave the designated route nor ride in vehicles of any type. Any runner who takes a short cut or rides a vehicle will be automatically disqualified from the competition.
6.     Race bib must be worn at all times during the race.  Lost race bibs will not be the organizer’s responsibility once these have been given to the participants. However, they may still request to purchase a new set depending on its availability.
7.     The race organizers reserve  the right to disqualify or refuse registration of runners and teams whom they deem are not in accordance with Race’s Rules and Regulation.
8.     Protest related to the results must be done in writing and will only be accepted 30 minutes before the awarding. Any complaint or protest will have a fee of Php 2,000.00 for every written protest made.
Organizers decision is final.
